If you are staying in Perkins, but have a new roommate request/apartment request, then there will be a little bit of change for you BEFORE you check out. A couple things may happen so please be aware of the following:
A. You may have travel plans that don't allow you time to move your things to your new apartment before you check out. If that is the case, you'll need to store your items in the upper lounge which will be locked for the break. Don't worry, maintenance and myself will be the only ones who have access to the upper lounge during the break. Please keep your things contained and labeled!
B. You may have time to get your things moved over into your new apartment. If that is the case, then you don't necessarily have to have your things unpacked and put away, but it will have to look decent before you move home. You most likely won't have to worry about storage issues.
A and B: Lastly, PLEASE do not store things for tenants other than yourself. We simply don't have the room, and even if you may be willing, it can be a bigger responsibility than you planned on (and it's just not a good idea). I promise it will make your life more simple if you don't allow others to leave their things in your care! I know this from experience (both with myself AND previous tenants...it was not fun).
