****SHOPPING LIST****

Hey Ladies! There have been some recent changes at Perkins Hall. I have a new updated list of basic things you should either purchase when you get here/bring with you. Of course tailor it to your needs, if you don't iron your clothes, don't bring an iron :) Please DO get all the cleaners, though. You can split them up among roommates when you get here if you'd like. We provide a vacuum, broom, dustpan, empty bucket (for cleaning).

Let me know if you have any questions!

You Will Need To Furnish The Following Items (if you use them):
· Bedding – extra long twin sheets (80 inches), blankets, pillow, pillowcases
· Towels/washcloths/shower mat
· Personal items
· Alarm clock, if desired (one is not provided)
· Flashlight – use of matches and candles/candle warmers are prohibited
· Soap, toilet paper, and other toiletries
· Hangers
· Iron & iron board (they have small ones that travel well)
· Lamp for desk, if desired
· Dishes, pans, kitchen utensils, toaster, hot-air popcorn popper, etc.

· Gloves for cleaning
· Oven Cleaner
· Bleach (small one will do)

· Dish soap
· Dishwasher Detergent
· Kitchen scrub brush
· Paper Towels
· SOS pads/steel wool pads
· New drip pans (if needed...check with your apartment's stove to see which kind...install these at the end of the semester so you don't have to scrub the current ones). Starting Fall 2010, those who move out will need to provide new drip pans at the end of their stay. Email me if you have questions hagenj@byui.edu
